For a constantly composing musician such as Tony Clarkin, the screening and selecting of the already written material is the most important moment in the process of creating a new Magnum album. Also it is a luxury to be able to be so picky and only use the strongest moments, it is also a difficult process because a creator grows fond of almost every track he has created. "After a publication, I typically directly start to work on the next album and compose new songs", tells Clarkin. When "Escape From The Shadow Garden" hit the stores in March of 2014, I was already thinking about the next disc. In the next months, 25 songs were created out of which Clarkin selected the 10 most promising for Sacred Blood "Divine" Lies. Thus, it is done: Sacred Blood - Divine will be released on February 26th 2016 and will, you do not have to foresee the future, be a huge success. One the other hand, Clarkin might already have his eyes and mind focused on the next project!
