It's no April Fool's joke, although the release date (April 1st) of the new THUNDERSTONE album might suggest it: The Finnish power metal band are back on the international stage and are stronger than ever. And with "Apocalypse Again" they not only present an album that seamlessly continues the style of the first three works of the troupe - it also marks the return of original vocalist Pasi Rantanen, whose characteristic element played a big part in the success of THUNDERSTONE. "Apocalypse Again" is melodic metal in perfection. From the speedy entry "Veterans Of The Apocalypse", about the catchy single "The Path", to the epic conclusion with "Barren Land" it is clear that THUNDERSTONE are among the best, the genre has to offer - and how much Rantanen was missing.
