You can hear that the band are really having fun on this album,without caring about genre rules. After being impressed by the drum sounds on a 'Defeater' album, the band googled the recording studio that was used, phoned them and sat down with Jason Maas in the studio a week later. German punk producer VIncent Sorg and mixing expert Moritz Enders perfected the sound: The heavier parts explode, the pop refrains rock and the joy of experimentation take the band off to distant shores.
