The Supersuckers are a cult band and with their countless live shows, they have gathered many loyal fans. Their latest release "Holdin' the Bag" is a captivating mix of forceful songs and sophisticated song writing and of course, it features all of Supersucker's well-known trademarks: their unique mix of sarcastic but likeable cockiness and wilful self-perception. While the eleven songs on "Holdin' the Bag" are beyond a doubt all rock songs, they do reflect the band's undeniable preference for country music. Since their 1997 milestone "Must've Been High", the band has included country music in their songs more and more frequently.
