Artikelbeskrivning
"You Can't Go Home Again" is the title of the novel from Thomas Wolfe. With "Kentucky", the Black Stone Cherries prove not only the opposite, but present their most varied, dynamic and exciting work. Nine years after their debut album, the Black Stone Cherries, who still play with the original line-up, paid another visit to Barrick Studio. The studio has moved a few streets up and became a little more modern, yet still employs the old analogue mixing tables from the legendary EMI Abbey Road Studio in London. The Black Stone Cherries, however, are nothing like the rock newbies they once were. Quite the contrary: The band has toured thousands of miles and visited 5 continents, wrote countless songs and even opposed the music industry, even though they have become house owners and fathers.
