The name Dissimulator from Montreal may not be familiar to most in 2024, but with the release of their razor-sharp debut Album 'Lower Form Resistance,' the band unleashes an overwhelming shock of the future onto the auditory and sensory nerves, permanently etching themselves into the cerebral cortex with their pulsating, unconventional attack. The band consists of members from bands such as Chthe'ilist, Atramentus, Beyond Creation, and others, and executes their jagged sci-fi death-thrash with malevolent complexity.

Over the course of the 42 minutes of 'Lower Form Resistance,' the rugged, angular riffs, complex structures, and atmosphere of overflowing incongruity converge with straightforward dynamics and constant accessibility at a crossroads where the thrash and death metal scenes began to merge, promising boundless potential. Added to this is a Voivod-like hint of robot emotions and technological downfall, and Dissimulator's vision provides a complete immersion into their world.
