Since the year one, mankind fills its surrounding nature with meaning. Whether it is gods, fairytales, myths, fears or wishes: Our daily perception of nature is shaped by everything that our culture projects into it. With "Momenta Quintae Essentiae” however, Nhor from Great Britain chooses a completely different approach to the matter. The eight album tracks try to catch nature without any valuation or interpretation. The sensitive compositions, accompanied by piano, acoustic guitar and occasionally by some very modest singing, express what Nhor is running out of words to describe. They convey the feelings a simple walk through the forest can release deep inside oneself: clarity, an ease of mind, and a deep connection that goes back further than the first cultural aspirations of humanity. This connection becomes possible through the "fifth essence” and "Momenta Quintae Essentiae” creates a musical shape for these moments of deep affinity – unbiased and simply beautiful.
