The debut by Gruesome "Savage Land" is a tribute to the first wave of death metal scene from Tampa/Florida (especially the early works by Death). Although Gruesome are more than just a tribute band. With members of Exhumed, Possessed, Malevolent Creation, and Derketa the group has a lot of experience and sends their listeners back into the glorious times of the late 80s. The cultic cover of Ed Repka completes the package!
