It reached place no. 3 in the British album charts, place no. 23 in the US Billboard Charts in the United States and place no. 8 in Germany. "Somewhere In Time" was awarded a gold record in the USA the same year. In 1992, Iron Maiden was awarded a platinum record. The album "Somewhere In Time" reached gold status in Great Britain and Germany.
