The Swedish multi-instrumentalist Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity, Bloodbath, Pan.Thy.Monium, Nightingale) and producer (Opeth, Marduk, Katatonia, Mörk Gryning, Therion) is back with a new album from his project 'Witherscape', which he founded together with Ragnar Widerberg. The follow-up to the sensational debut 'The Inheritance' and the following EP 'The New Tomorrow' again mixes the best of 70's / 80's prog / hard rock with atmospheric extreme metal.
