SOULFLY head Max Cavalera proves that he has worked hard on this album, similar to the preceding albums and his bands Sepultura and Cavalera Conspiracy.
If you follow the bloody path that SOULFLY has left over the past years, you’ll quickly realise that “Omen” marks another milestone in the band’s history with its aggressiveness. It almost overshadows its predecessors “Conquer” regarding fanaticism.
On the B-side the Sepultura songs “Refuse/Resist” and “Your Life, My Life” were re-recorded, the first with his son Zyon Cavalera and the second with his son Igor Cavalera.
“Omen” not only marks a new chapter for SOULFLY, but also for the whole heavy metal scene.
